This is it

My friend Pierre Bamin has worked his magic and we have a winner in the cover contest.  The joy of collaborating with Pierre is that he doesn’t just dump a few versions on you and that’s it.  We’ve been able to tweak things over the last month or so to work the novel’s details into that final cover illustration, so that rather than being a generic cover, it’s a cover tailored for this novel and this novel alone.  I know that’s what every cover should be but not everyone you work with has that kind of attention to detail, a willingness both to listen and to come up with creative ideas and alternatives – and all this coupled with a determination to get it right.

Why is the guy holding a Yorkshire Terrier in his left hand and a gun in his right?  I guess you’ll just have to read the book to find out.  Talking of which, HOW HARD CAN IT BE? is going to be released on Amazon on 1st June.  It’s worth buying, if only for a closer look at that cover!
