Here’s one I prepared earlier

I actually wrote WOKE UP THIS MORNING, my third novel, before BAGMAN. I was inspired to do so because I’d just taken up the guitar again and I feared that I would never be as good as I wanted to be. My fear was entirely justified but even though I’ll never be able to play as well as I dream of doing, I do get a little bit better every day.

Here’s the description of the book on Amazon:

The nameless narrator of Woke Up This Morning says that he’s a prisoner and that it’s something to do with God, guitars, ghosts and the Blues.  But is it?  Where is he?  And what’s the truth about what really happened?

This is a story of dreams, Zen gardening and being dangerously obsessed with the Blues.

WOKE UP THIS MORNING is the third novel by J J Rich and Part 3 of what might be a kind of guitar trilogy that started with his first novel BAGMAN and continued with BAGMAN HITS THE ROAD.  And next?  Probably a novel or two about something other than guitars.
