Couldn’t resist another vampire story

Sometimes you’re just not finished with your characters. In the process of writing a book you can become pretty attached to them — and that’s exactly what happened with THE BLOODY BROTHERS. I wanted another adventure with my vampire brothers, Maxim and Vlad. Without giving the game away, there was also a really good reason to put them in Brighton in 1808. But I’m not going to ruin the first book (or this one) by revealing what it is.

Like the brothers’ last outing, this was loads of fun to write — but it’s in a completely different style, which is meant to be a better reflection of the period. That’s my excuse anyway!

Here’s the description of the book on Amazon:

It’s the summer of 1808 and two young noblemen have arrived in Brighton from Eastern Europe in search of love, adventure and a ready supply of blood.

This summer, the Prince of Wales is in town, along with the ultra-fashionable Beau Brummell and the young rebel poet Lord Byron.

In this companion to THE BLOODY BROTHERS, the stage is set for fireworks in a clash of competing celebrities in what appears to be a remarkably modern world.
