My First Novel

This is the one that started my journey in July 2023.

Andy Hughes works in a music shop, which is a good thing because he’s obsessed with guitars. Along with all the other guys behind the tills, he dreams of making it in the music business. There’s just one problem – even though Andy’s a great guitarist, he’s also painfully shy, so much so that he’s even dropped by his own band.

On the brink of giving it all up, a chance meeting with his all-time guitar hero might just change Andy’s life. Can the shy guy really triumph in a world of show-offs?

This is a wry look at how to get on (or not) in the music business. It’s a story about hope, love and friendship – but mostly about guitars and about finding your inner superhero.
